FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Does my child have to have sewing experience to take this camp?
A: No! There are no pre-requisites for camps. For Sewing 101 or Sewing Marathon, it is helpful to have a little experience, but not required. We design all of our classes to be not just about finishing a project, but we will teach you how to use a sewing machine, how to read a pattern and all kinds of other fiber arts skills.

Q: If I sign up for a morning and afternoon session, will there be supervision over lunch?
A: Yes! Please bring a lunch and a book to read or something to do. A teacher will be in the room to supervise.

Q: Are there scholarships available?
A: We should have information about scholarships in April.

Q: I am a working parent. Can I drop my child off early so I can get to work on time?
A: We request that you do not drop your child off before 8:45 for morning classes or 12:45 for afternoon classes. We do not have staff available to supervise children before these times.

Q: Do you have any after care options if I can't get there at 4:00?
A: Sorry, we do not have an aftercare program.

Q: My 9 year old really wants to take a class that says it is for 10 and up. Can I sign her up anyway?
A: Please respect the ages listed on the camp description. We have worked closely with the instructors to design these classes so that every student can be successful. To be fair to all students, we need to respect the listed ages. If you have questions, please contact Becka for more information.

Q: What should my son/daughter bring to class?
A: Everyone should bring a drink and/or snack with them. We will take a break during class at some point during the morning or afternoon. There is a water fountain available and kids are welcome to put something in the fridge in the kitchen. Some classes also have a supply list, which you will see listed just after the camp description. PLEASE check the supply list for your class and make sure you bring those items with you on the first day.
