The Textile Center dedicated its beautiful gallery in Joan Mondale's honor in May 2004. Joan has been a tireless supporter of all art forms including fiber art since her days in public service. She was the honorary chairperson for the capital campaign for the Textile Center. The gallery is the first space to be named for Joan, and we are proud to honor Joan Mondale in this way.

The Joan Mondale Gallery is the premiere showcase for fiber art in the Twin Cities, the Midwest and perhaps the nation. It is the entry point that gives many people their first exposure to the Textile Center and to fiber art - introducing thousands of people each year to the breadth and quality of fiber art.

An endowment has been established to carry on the work of the Joan Mondale Gallery. A portion of the interest from the endowment fund will be spent for the gallery each year, preserving and growing the capital so it can support the gallery in perpetuity. If you would like to support the endowment with a gift, please print this form and return it to the Textile Center.
