The Textile Mobile allows us to take textile arts experiences on the road!
The Textile Mobile Program includes all different kids of outreach - bringing textile arts in to the community. We work with everyone from preschool, kids, teens, adults and seniors to immigrant groups, housing communities, clubs and organizations, schools, community centers and more.
Here are some of the educational activities you can do with the Textile Mobile:
We have a group of diverse and creative teaching artists who form the core of our Textile Mobile. Each Textile Mobile Teacher has a background in textile arts and in teaching kids and adults. We do ongoing training to keep up on the latest techniques and to learn collaboratively on how to be better artists and teachers.

It's not just kids stuff!
We design programs for all ages and all occasions. We can fit your curriculum or expand your horizons. Students with special needs welcome!
Prices for activities will vary based on the size of your group and the type of project and materials used. Tours, projects and classes with the Textile Mobile typically run between $50 and $75 per hour. In most cases, the Textile Mobile provides a teacher, all tools and materials for the project and works with you to plan the perfect program for your students.
